Job Description Were looking for a highly organised and proactive Finance & Compliance Assistant to join the SoCode Group. This is a pivotal role supporting our finance and operations function, ensuring smooth delivery of credit control, contractor payroll, and compliance processes across multiple regions.Youll work closely with the Operations Director and Finance Manager, acting as a key point of contact for contractors, clients, and partners across our global supply chain.This role requires the person to be able to travel to travel to our Norwich office on a hybrid basis, but will support our offices globally including UK (Cambridge, Norwich, & London), Spain (Marbella), and USA (New York). Key ResponsibilitiesContractor PayrollSupport weekly global contractor payroll processesValidate timesheets and manage approvalsProcess UK contractor and umbrella paymentsCoordinate payments with EMEA & US workforce partnersUpload self-bill invoices and maintain payroll reportingCredit ControlTake ownership of credit control across the groupMonitor outstanding balances and chase overdue invoicesMaintain accurate payment records and reconcile accountsSet up and manage automated remindersConduct financial assessments and credit checks for new clientsOther Finance SupportAssist with the issuing of invoices and reconciling accountsManage and track client purchase ordersCompliance & Contractor ManagementEnsure contractors are compliant before and during assignments, across UK, EMEA, & US.Act as a key contact for contractors and workforce partnersSupport audits and maintain accurate, audit-ready documentationIdentify and escalate compliance risksWe will provide full training across our platforms, and also our global compliance process.
