Job DescriptionNew Financial Accountant job available - 12-18 Month FTC Your new companyA leading organisation within the support services sector is seeking a Financial Accountant to join its Finance Department on a fixedterm contract. This role is based at the companys head office in Norwich and offers a 37hour working week, Monday to Friday, with a hybrid working model of 3 days in office per week. This is a well-established organisation with a broad range of services and products and will be working within a tenured and supportive finance operation.Your new roleWe are looking for a fully qualified Financial Accountant with strong technical expertise and a sound understanding of business taxation, including (but not limited to):Statutory reportingVAT & Corporation TaxPSA returnsKey responsibilities include:Preparing statutory accounts in line with applicable international and UK accounting standardsSupporting cashflow forecasting, modelling, and monitoring for the wider GroupProducing the monthly Group finance pack for internal distributionPreparing VAT return workings and associated reconciliationsOverseeing corporation tax return preparation in collaboration with external advisorsAssisting with the external audit process and liaising with internal auditors as requiredWhat you''ll need to succeedYou will bring experience from a similar Financial Accountant role within a busy and diverse organisation, along with:A recognised professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA or equivalent) and ongoing membershipStrong technical knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP reporting standardsA solid understanding of tax legislation, particularly VATExcellent communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently at senior levelsStrong organisational skills and the ability to thrive in a deadlinedriven environmentWhat you''ll get in returnYou will receive a competitive salary of 40-55,000 + benefits, free on-site parking and hybrid working opportunities.
