Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver Double Decker Location: Snetterton Basic Salary : 19.00 to 30.00 per hour Employment Type : Temp ongoing Job Description: We are currently seeking experienced and reliable HGV Class 1 Driver Double Decker for a full-time, ongoing position.Scroll down to find an indepth overview of this job, and what is expected of candidates Make an application by clicking on the Apply button.This role involves depot-to-depot trunking work, focusing on safe and efficient transportation of goods using double-decker trailers.Drivers in this role typically handle 1-2 drops per day, swapping trailers at various depots across the network.Key Responsibilities:- This role involves trunking work, primarily depot-to-depot deliveries with double-decker trailers.- 1-2 drops per shift.- Trailer swaps between depots.- Start times between 12:00- 21:00 (must be flexible).- Safely operate HGV Class 1 vehicles in compliance with legal and company regulations.- Complete deliveries and collections as scheduled.- Ensure all goods are transported safely and securely.- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.Requirements: Must download your tacho with the company, showing at least 1 year of HGV1 driving history with no gaps longer than 1 month.Flexible start times between 12:00- 21:00.Valid HGV Class 1 licence with a clean record (Max 6 points; no DR, DD, DG, CD, BD codes).Valid CPC and Tacho Card.Minimum 1 year of proven experience (no employment gaps exceeding 1 month in the past year).Strong time management and organisational skills.Flexibility to work weekends and overtime as required.Benefits: Full Flexibility (you can choose the days you want to work).Paid holiday Competitive hourly pay Weekly pay Supportive and collaborative team environment Company pension scheme On-site parking and free parking available Pay Rates: PAYE Rates (First 12 Weeks) : Monday to Friday 19.00 per hour (first 8h), Overtime after 8h 23.50 per hour.Saturday 22.00 per hour(first 8h), Overtime after 8h 23.50 per hour.Sunday 24.00 per hour (first 8h), Overtime after 8h 25 per hour.Bank Holiday 30.00 per hour (all hours).PAYE Rates (After 12 Weeks) : Monday to Friday 19.50 per hour (first 8h), Overtime after 8h 24.00 per hour.Saturday 23.00 per hour(first 8h), Overtime after 8h 24.00 per hour.Sunday 25.00 per hour(first 8h), Overtime after 8h 25.00 per hour.Bank Holiday 30.00 per hour (all hours).How To Apply : If you meet the above requirements and are ready to take on this exciting opportunity, we want to hear from you!
