Agile HybridHomeworking (office base Norwich) Full time, 37 hours a week, Monday Friday Starting Salary at43,988 per annum, with future progression opportunities to46,798, plus Essential Car User Allowance of 4,679 per annum PermanentContract About the roleWe are recruiting for an experienced and proactiveindividual to join our Health and Safety Team. The role willinvolve carrying out or assisting in the investigations ofaccidents, incidents and near misses and lead on the reviewing andcreating of risk assessments and safe systems of work. The roleprovides health and safety technical advice, to all employees tomaintain compliance with all applicable regulations.Some of the main duties of the role willinclude: Delivering and reviewingsuitable and sufficient risk assessments and a safe system of workfor a variety of tasks. Devise, lead andconduct health and safety audits to support compliance.Present accident prevention training and health andsafety training including inductions.Effectively line manage and motivate the Health andSafety Team; including 1:1s, performance and absencemanagement. AboutYou The successful candidate willhold a NEBOSH Health and Safety Certificate or equivalent and be amember of a recognised Health and Safety institution, minimum ofTech IOSH or equivalent. The successfulcandidate will have experience in a managerial role (includingfunctional management) in a similar capacity e.g. facilitiesmanagement or operational management, including people management.Experience coordinating and/or managing projects, improving teamprocesses and procedures, creating management reports. You willalso Champion digital improvement & have a strong digitalcompetence. A driving licence and access to ownvehicle is essential as travel throughout Norfolk will be required.The successful candidate will be required to undertake a basicDisclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
