Quality Inspector - Jointing & Terminations

Quality Inspector required for export Land Cable / 400kV grid connections Jointing and Termination works.All potential applicants are encouraged to scroll through and read the complete job description before applying.Onshore cable route to be provided onsite, this will be from the OSS to the TJB Suitably competent resident jointing Inspector are required to be provided at the Onshore cable route as detailed above for 320kV HVDC Onshore export cable/FO cables and 400kV grid connection works.Monitoring against contractual specifications as further detailed in the ITPs for the equipment;Witnessing of all other testing as per the contract;Follow approved ITP (see documents attached;Write reports to the project - daily, weekly and monthly as required;Identify NCRs;Maintain a log of open pointsMonitor completions process, signing documentation as witnessedMonitor closure of open points/snags/NCRsReview recordsOnsite Inspectors do not approve any documentsEscalate issues to Project QM and wider Q Team as detailed in the surveillance plansCompile surveillance recordsAttend Quality Meetings with Contractor and Project QM as directedWrite meeting minutes/ and update logsSupport Project QM and wider quality team on issues as requested and agreed on an ongoing basisLiaise with wider project team on issues as requiredInspector is not to instruct jointing / termination worksCertificationsH&S, ISO QMS auditor, LV/MV equipment inspection etc.Time served with HNC/HND or craft qualification in an Electrical discipline. xjdpvnf Professional standard of written and spoken English.
