Role / Job Title: Infrastructure Designer Work Location: Norwich (3 Days) Duration of Assignment: 06 Months The Role AWS Cloud Infrastructure Designer is responsible for designing robust, scalable, secure, and cost efficient cloud architectures on Amazon Web Services. The role focuses on translating business requirements into cloud native infrastructure blueprints, ensuring alignment with best practices such as the AWS Well Architected Framework. Your Responsibilities Design end to end AWS cloud infrastructures including networking, compute, storage, security, and monitoringMake sure to read the full description below, and please apply immediately if you are confident you meet all the requirements.Create high level and low level architectural diagrams, infrastructure-as-code (IaC) templates, and design documentsEvaluate and select AWS services that best fit functional and non functional requirementsBuild and optimize solutions using IaC tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and CDKEnsure solutions adhere to reliability, performance, security, and cost optimization best practicesImplement cost efficient designs leveraging autoscaling, serverless, spot instances, and managed servicesWork with solution architects, developers, security teams, and operations teams to ensure design feasibilityTranslate complex technical capabilities into clear concepts for non technical stakeholdersProvide architectural guidance during project lifecycle-from conceptualization to production rolloutImplement cloud security architecture covering IAM, VPC security, encryption, IAM roles, and compliance controlsEnsure adherence to regulatory standards (ISO 27001, PCI DSS, GDPR, etc.) depending on industry needsYour Profile Essential Skills / Knowledge / Experience Experience in architecting and building solutions to support highly available and Data solutions, batch xjdpvnf processes, services and API'sUnderstanding of IAM policies and statementsAWS based capacity management and performance logging and monitoring solutionsAWS cost managementScripting skills (Python, Ruby, Powershell, BASH)Data VaultExperience of writing/using terraform or AWS CDK at scalePostgres SQL, Oracle MySQL/Aurora RDS, Redshift and other database/NoSQL TechDesirable Skills / Knowledge / Experience AWS solution architect associate certification or equivalent preferredAwareness of Redshift, AWS ServicesExperience in Cloud based projectsSnowflake
