Job Title: Building Surveyor – ResidentialLocation: South East, UK (Remote with site visits)Salary: Competitive – based on your skills, experience, and qualificationsType: Permanent – Full TimeYour New Company:We’ve got a fantastic opportunity for a Building Surveyor to join our team in the South East. If you’re looking for a role where you can take ownership of your work, make a real difference to people’s homes, and grow your career with support and flexibility, this could be the one for you.Your New Role:You’ll be leading and managing a variety of residential projects, helping to restore properties that have been damaged by insured events like fire, flood, or structural issues. Project values typically range from £50k to £5m. Depending on the size and complexity, you might work independently or alongside a small team of Quantity Surveyors, CAD technicians, and engineers.Your day-to-day will include:Writing clear technical reportsDiagnosing building defectsPreparing Schedules of WorksManaging contracts and overseeing repairsSupporting clients who may be going through difficult timesYou’ll need to juggle multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and make confident decisions under pressure.
