Junior Development Designer

The opportunity:This is a great opportunity for a Junior Development Designer who is looking to start or further their career to join a fast-growing supplier of retail displays, windows, and pop-up spaces, partnering with some of the world's leading brands.What you'll do:Produce development solutions to support the clients design and technical intentConduct site surveys as and when requiredForm part of an installation team on site aiding members with site activities as and when requiredEmbrace and foster a team culture conducive to teamwork, individual empowerment, honesty, and that is commercially astuteReport on risk in a timely fashion to allow the business to react accordinglyCollaborate with other departments, such as planning, workshop, prototype and pre-production to align development activities with sales forecastsWhat you'll bring:Some knowledge of the industry is desirable, but more importantly we are looking for someone who is willing to learn!Good reporting skillsProficient with Microsoft OfficeGood numerical skillsSound knowledge of SolidWorksThe softer skills we believe will help you thrive in this role:Good interpersonal skills and confident in communicating with people of all levels, written and verballyExcellent time management and multi-tasking skillsComfortable taking part in client and internal meetingsTarget drivenAble to work both independently and as part of a teamMethodical, precise and be able to maintain accurate record systems and report accordingly
