Managing Legal Counsel - Remote

You’ll lead a team of lawyers and paralegals delivering a wide range of high-quality commercial legal services under a unique client-embedded model.This is an excellent opportunity for a senior lawyer with strong commercial contracts experience—particularly in media, technology, or outsourcing—to combine high-quality work with leadership, innovation, and work within an in-house environment.RoleAct as the primary legal contactLead and supervise a team of lawyers and paralegals across a broad commercial contract portfolioManage team capacity, workflows, quality and client stakeholder communicationSupport the negotiation and delivery of a wide range of commercial, media and tech contractsHelp shape and refine a progressive legal service delivery modelContribute to continuous improvement of legal, operational and tech processesCollaborate closely with client-side legal teams and internal stakeholdersOversee reporting, client meetings, training, onboarding, and development initiativesCandidate RequirementsUK-qualified solicitor 8+ PQE ideallyProven experience in general commercial contracts, ideally including media and tech agreementsPrior experience managing or supervising a team of legal professionalsStrong drafting and negotiation skills with a client-focused approachTechnologically literate, with an interest in legal innovation and process improvementConfident in stakeholder engagement, with strong commercial acumenPassion for building lasting client relationships in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentThis is a high-impact role offering a balance of leadership, variety and innovation.
