Employee Relations AdvisorRemote Role (with limited travel)Charity/ Not for Profit SectorSalary: £40,000As our Employee Relations Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact for all employee relations matters, managing a dynamic caseload of approximately 30 cases at any one time. You will provide clear, pragmatic advice to managers and employees, ensuring that all issues are handled professionally, in line with employment law, and with sensitivity to the values of our organisation.This is a remote-first role, offering flexibility and autonomy, while remaining part of a collaborative and purpose-driven team.More about the role:Manage a varied caseload of employee relations issues including disciplinary, grievance, performance, absence, and wellbeing matters.Provide expert, solution-focused advice to line managers, supporting them through complex and sensitive cases.Ensure all employee relations activity is legally compliant, well-documented, and aligned with organisational policies and values.Identify trends and root causes in casework, contributing to proactive solutions and policy development.Support organisational change initiatives such as restructures, TUPE transfers, and consultations.Deliver training and coaching to managers to build confidence and capability in people management.More about you:Proven experience in an employee relations-focused HR role, ideally within the charity or not-for-profit sector.Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and influence at all levels.Comfortable managing a high-volume caseload with competing priorities.CIPD qualification (or working towards) is desirable but not essential.A values-driven approach with a genuine passion for supporting people and promoting fairness.
