You’ll be working closely with the Senior Project Engineer (who will act as your mentor), alongside project managers, operations, and sales teams, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. It’s a role that blends hands-on technical design, cross-department collaboration, and project leadership.What you’ll be doingCarrying out site visits to assess requirements, liaising with sales and customer project teamsProducing drawings, calculations, risk assessments, manuals, and key documentationLeading and supporting project meetings and reviews, deputising for the Senior Project Manager where neededManaging project documentation, progress reports, and safety complianceSpecifying and understanding plant and equipment requirementsWorking closely with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure smooth deliveryProviding technical advice during site surveys and supporting health 'safety investigationsEnsuring projects are completed within scope, budget, and timescalesWhat we’re looking forExperience in manufacturing, engineering, or warehousing environmentsStrong technical mindset with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearlyProven ability to work autonomously while building strong relationships across teamsSolid understanding of industry standards, safe systems of work, and risk managementHigh attention to detail, excellent organisation, and strong written/verbal communication skillsConfident using Microsoft Office; Dynamics CRM experience desirableWillingness to travel (UK and abroad) and flexibility with working hours when projects demandWhat’s on offerSalary £35,000 – £40,000 (dependent on experience)Monday–Friday, 9am–5pmFree on-site parking and gym access (HQ)Private Medical Insurance & Life Assurance (with service length)Enhanced annual leave with length of serviceStructured career development and mentorshipEmployee Assistance Programme & regular company events
