This is a pivotal role for an experienced designer ready to take on significant responsibility, lead projects, and contribute to an award-winning portfolio of innovative workplace designs. You will work within a collaborative studio environment, engaging with clients from concept through to completion, and helping to shape the future of work.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Associate, Design, your responsibilities will include:Project Leadership: Leading design efforts for assigned projects, from initial client brief to final handover, ensuring design excellence and adherence to project timelines and budgets.Concept Development: Developing strong conceptual designs that align with client objectives, brand identity, and the firm's design principles.Client Engagement & Pitching: Building and maintaining strong client relationships, acting as a primary design contact, and effectively presenting and pitching design solutions and technical information to secure new opportunities.Design Documentation: Producing comprehensive design documentation, including space plans, elevations, sections, details, finishes, and furniture specifications, using relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).Technical Proficiency: Ensuring design solutions are technically feasible, compliant with relevant building codes and regulations, and integrate seamlessly with other disciplines (e.g., M&E, structural).Team Management & Mentorship: Managing project design teams, providing guidance, fostering skill development, and offering constructive feedback to junior designers, cultivating a collaborative and high-performing environment.Quality Assurance: Maintaining high standards of design quality and accuracy across all project phases.Research & Development: Staying current with industry trends, materials, technologies, and best practices in workplace design.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.[Insert Number, e.g., 5+] years of experience in workplace design, with a strong portfolio showcasing innovative and successfully delivered projects.Proven experience in leading design projects and managing small design teams.Demonstrated ability to effectively pitch and present design concepts to clients and stakeholders.Expert proficiency in industry-standard design software, including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Enscape/Lumion, and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction processes relevant to commercial interiors.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts clearly to clients and team members.A collaborative mindset with a proactive and problem-solving approach.Experience in client management and relationship building.What Our Client OffersOpportunity to work on diverse and impactful projects globally.A collaborative and innovative work environment.Commitment to professional development and career growth.Competitive salary and benefits package.Hybrid working model.
