Arthur is excited to be working in partnership with one of the markets most impressive growing insurers as they search for a Head of Claims.In this role, you will lead the growth and development of a small team where you will still be involved in high value complex losses, therefore, strong technical experience is important. As well as covering all lines of business the company writes, the portfolio leans heavier towards fire and water damage claims and general liability losses.Your Role: Manage and Lead the Claims Department, ensuring a high-quality, customer-focused claims service that aligns with broader business objectivesEstablish a working relationship with the claim’s personnel of the allocated section of clientsMaintain the relationship, deal with queries and provide technical help and assistanceEstablish, oversee and maintain a relationship with any allocated TPA, including regular meetings to review progress of cases, standards, fair treatment of customers, service level agreements and other aspects, dealing with queries and providing technical assistance as requiredEnsure that the ultimate customer’s needs and Compliance are met in accordance with all company claims processesProvide support to claims handlers, lead, develop, and manage the Property and Liability Claims team, fostering a high-performance culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growthMaintain industry knowledge of claims issues and the regulatory environmentYour Skills, Experience and Qualifications: Team player - Demonstrates flexibility and empathy and takes responsibility as requiredDelivering Results - Demonstrates commitment to the identified results, meets deadlines, is motivated and has a “can do” approachRegulatory & Compliance - Demonstrates an awareness of the regulatory environment and implements regulatory and compliance requirements as appropriateProactivity & Initiative - Uses initiative, shares ideas and suggests improvements, constructively challenges the status quoTransparency - Operates in a fair, open manner, surfaces issues in a timely wayAccuracy - Demonstrates diligence and attention to detail to ensure thoroughness and accuracy in tasksFor more information, please contact me on or 0203 587 7471
