Mobile Plater Technician

JOB TITLE: Mobile Plant Fitter PAY: 17.00 19.00 per hour (DOE) LOCATION: Northwich HOURS: Full-Time, Permanent OVERVIEW We are seeking an experienced Mobile Plant Fitter to join our engineering team, supporting customers across the region with high-quality maintenance, repair, and diagnostics on a wide range of construction and plant machinery. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Carry out planned maintenance, servicing, and inspections on plant and construction equipment (excavators, dumpers, rollers, telehandlers, small tools, etc.). Diagnose and repair hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical faults. Respond to breakdowns and perform on-site repairs across customer locations. Complete accurate service reports, timesheets, and job documentation. Work safely and in line with company, manufacturer, and HSE standards. Provide excellent customer service while representing the company on-site. REQUIREMENTS Previous experience as a Plant Fitter, Mobile Engineer, Heavy Plant Technician, or similar. Strong mechanical and hydraulic knowledge; electrical experience desirable. Ability to use diagnostic equipment and technical manuals. Full UK driving licence (company van provided). Self-motivated, reliable, and capable of working independently. BENEFITS 17.00 19.00 per hour depending on experience. Overtime available at enhanced rates.
