Were working with a well-established national leisure business to recruit a proactive and experienced HR Manager to join one of their largest and most dynamic UK locations. About the Role This is not your typical HR role. As HR Manager, youll be at the heart of driving compliant, efficient, and people-focused practices across the site. Youll lead on all areas of people compliance, including Right to Work, DBS checks, and employee relations, ensuring the site remains fully aligned with UK employment law and internal policy. Working closely with both local leadership and a central People Team, you''ll provide trusted guidance, audit support, and policy expertise across the full employee lifecyclefrom hiring and onboarding through to data governance and ongoing team development. Key Responsibilities Conduct regular audits and present findings to senior site and central teams Ensure compliance in recruitment, onboarding, time & attendance, payroll input, and employee records Lead on Right to Work and DBS monitoring, including system reviews and leader training Guide and support managers on complex ER issues and policy application Identify risks, recommend solutions, and lead change initiatives to improve people processes Monitor and report on key HR compliance metrics (e.g. mandatory training, GDPR, legal updates) Ensure accurate data across systems and support payroll from a compliance perspective Stay ahead of legal changes and ensure park policies remain compliant and fit for purpose What Were Looking For Strong background in HR management, compliance or employee relations within a complex or seasonal operation Confident in managing Right to Work and other statutory people compliance requirements Sound understanding of UK employment law and GDPR Ability to influence stakeholders and lead operational change HR qualification (e.g. CIPD) or equivalent experience Experience in a matrix organisation and managing HR risks in a fast-paced environment55b20050-bc17-4e5d-bfce-3c406318dffc
