We are looking for an experienced Senior Life Safety Technical Engineer/Supervisor to supervise all our engineers and contractors on site. We are looking for a strong leader and team player who will embrace a fast start in return for a rewarding packageRole Responsibilities and Duties for Senior Life Safety Technical Engineer/Supervisor:Install, service, commission, and fault-find life safety systems, including Fire Alarm Systems, Evacuation Alert Systems, Emergency Voice Communication (EVC) Systems, Disabled Refuge / Toilet Alarm SystemsSupervise, mentor, and guide junior engineers and subcontractors on siteLead works on high-rise developments and in occupied residential or commercial buildingsEnsure all installations and maintenance activities comply with relevant British Standards and industry regulationsRead, interpret, and work from drawings, site plans, and system schematicsSound knowledge of relevant standards and regulations (BS 5839, BS 8629, NSI/SSAIB, BAFE standards)Carry out site surveys, testing, inspections, and handoversMaintain high standards of health & safety, particularly in live and occupied environmentsLiaise with clients, main contractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate worksComplete accurate documentation, reports, and certificationAdhoc duties as required.Qualifications & Experience Required for Senior Life Safety Technical Engineer/Supervisor:SSSTS or equivalent supervisory qualificationECS or CSCS CardSound working knowledge of relevant standards and regulations: BS 5839, BS 8629, NSI / SSAIB requirements, BAFE standardsAsbestos AwarenessWorking at HeightManual HandlingIPAF and/or PASMA (Desired)FIA Training minimum Level 3Manufacturer training (preferred)Full UK driving licence and Right to Work in the UKMinimum of 5 years experience working within the Fire Safety IndustrySolid experience installing, servicing, fault finding and commissioning of Fire Alarm, Evacuation Alert, Emergency Voice Communication and Toilet Alarm systemsSupervisory experience and the mentoring/guiding of othersExcellent fault-finding and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to communicate professionally with a customer-focused approachSalary:40,000 to 45,000 DOE - overtime and bonus opportunitiesHours of work:Mon-Fri 8am-5pmWhat we offer:Company van, fuel card, tools, and uniformOngoing professional development and training (Manufacturers, H&S)Holidays:20 days plus Bank Holidays per annum (increasing annually to a maximum of 25 after 5 years) + Birthday offBenefits:Comprehensive Company Health InsuranceJBRP1_UKTJ
