Small Works/ Project Manager - 55k+ plus packageYou can get further details about the nature of this opening, and what is expected from applicants, by reading the below.This company is an established Construction & Building Services Contractor with regional offices throughout the UK and turnover in excess of 60m.An opportunity has arisen to bring an Small Works Manager based in their West Sussex regional office.Responsibilities:All aspects of M&E works, especially commercial refurbishment and surveys.Surveying of works and supporting our estimating team.Supervision and organisation of sub-contractors and internal labour resourceAssisting and completing PQQ and SQ submissionsProduction of project H&S information including CPPs and RAMS in liaison with H&S Management teamProducing and managing project programmes and timelinesManagement of directly employed staff andsub-contractorsManagement of on-site H&S including undertaking of site audits/inspections in line with company standard proceduresAttending project meetings and production of various reports and project documentation requiredContributing to work planning, and briefing project teams, contractors and suppliers Managing and carrying out of commercial valuations on projects and agreement of project accountsWork closely with other internal departments (commercial. H&S) and external (client, design team) to ensure the contracts are delivered on time and within financial budgets.Role will be office based however there will be a requirement to make regular site and client visitsThe ideal candidateMust have/held Airside clearanceStrong knowledge of ULTIMO and P2W systems.Ideally minimum of 3yrs proven track record of managing numerous contracts with values between 5 -100k.Ideally degree qualified in construction management and/or commercial background and experience/knowledge in quantity surveying would be useful.The ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.Strong maths and IT skills.Strong H&S knowledge and relevant safe system of work processes.Good problem-solving skills.Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.Qualifications and key skills requiredDriving license essentialSMSTS or SSSTSFirst Aid at WorkAsbestos AwarenessCSCS25 days holiday, + BH, pension, parking, laptop, mobile, 5k car allowance after successful 3-month probation period, Option to opt into private health care, dental careTPBN1_UKTJ
