You will play a key part in ensuring the safe and seamless movement of sensitive freight across international borders, in strict adherence to all relevant legislation and security protocols.Your responsibilities will include:Handling incoming calls and customer enquiriesPreparing accurate job quotationsProcessing operational Export and Import shipmentsLiaising with carriers, contractors, and internal teamsCosting jobs and invoicingOccasionally assisting with warehouse duties if requiredManaging your own desk efficiently and maintaining accurate records(Import & Export Coordinator) - Position RequirementsPrevious experience in Export, Import, Air, Road & Ocean and Customs operations is essentialPrior experience working with Dangerous Goods and/or Restricted/Defence Goods is preferredStrong organisational and communication skillsAbility to manage tasks independently and as part of a teamIT literate(Import & Export Coordinator) - Position RemunerationSalary: 30,000 - 35,000 (dependent on age and experience)3-month probation period20 days annual leave + 8 bank holidaysCompany laptop providedPost-Probation/Once Fully Trained:Performance review and potential for salary adjustmentPaid overtime opportunitiesCompany phone (if required)Enrolment into company pension schemeStreamline Search is a technical recruitment agency based in Chichester, West Sussex operating across the United Kingdom.
