Our client is seeking an experiencedRoofing Operations Managerto lead the successful delivery of multiple roofing contracts and play a key role in expanding the business. Role Overview: As Roofing Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day delivery of live projects, ensuring works are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. Youll manage site teams and subcontractors, liaise with clients, and maintain commercial and operational control. This role also carries a business development aspect, with the expectation that you will help grow the department by securing new work. Key Responsibilities: Manage the delivery of multiple roofing contracts (planned and responsive)Oversee site teams and subcontractors to ensure performance and complianceEnsure adherence to health and safety legislation and company proceduresAttend client meetings, provide progress updates, and maintain relationshipsCollaborate with commercial teams on budgets, variations, and contract deliveryConduct quality inspections to ensure all works meet agreed specificationsSupport project planning, programming, and seamless handoversIdentify and secure new business opportunities to support the growth of the department Candidate Requirements: Proven experience in a similar leadership role within roofingIn-depth knowledge of pitched and flat roofing systemsBackground in managing social housing contracts or public sector frameworksStrong leadership, communication, and organisational skillsSound understanding of H&S legislation, CDM regulations, and site complianceCommercial awareness and the ability to manage budgets and performanceCSCS cardFull UK driving licence Package: 45,000 - 50,000pa depending on experienceCompany van and fuel cardBonus incentive scheme This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable and growing business with a strong pipeline of work and genuine prospects for progression.
