We are the sole supplier of sandwiches, wraps, rolls and sushi for Marks & SpencerWhat You'll Be Doing AsFood Safety Technologist , you will support the implementation of the food safety and quality management systems by verifying that standards, customer requirements and legal obligations are being met in full.Execute microbiological swab plans, complete hygiene audits and update training documentation to ensure legal, safety and customer complianceInvestigate customer complaints to establish any failures within the manufacturing process to ensure that any issues can be addressed in the short and longer termProvide insight from audit results to site governance meetings to drive audit compliance, to share best practice and to encourage continuous improvement of quality systemsEnsure that procedures, allergen matrices and hazard analysis and critical control points (HACCP) are up to date to maintain the integrity of the quality management system (QMS) documentationRepresent the technical team at New Product Development (NPD) forums and complete follow up actions to ensure that all new products have food safety considerations included from the outsetComplete internal audits on food safety processes as part of the Internal Audit team to ensure that the sites are always audit readyComplete root cause analysis of any audit failures and feedback conclusions and recommendations to relevant managers to ensure that the issue is eliminated for the futureWhat We're Looking For We're not all the same at Greencore and our differences help us to make every day taste better for all our stakeholders.
