CNC Machinist

Location: Northampton Hours: Monday to Thursday, 07:30 - 18:00 | Friday, 07:30 - 16:00 Salary: 37,000 Contract: Permanent Duties: Set up, prepare, and operate CNC machinery for drilling, milling, and grinding. Load and prepare raw materials onto machines in accordance with job specifications. Record material usage and time spent on each job accurately. Carry out daily checks and routine maintenance on CNC equipment. Collaborate with the engineering and production teams on machine modifications. Support prototype and R&D projects by assisting with development parts. Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment at all times. The ideal candidate must: Have a minimum of 3 years' CNC and manual machining experience. Be confident working to mechanical drawings and tight tolerances. Possess strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude. Be detail-oriented with a practical, hands-on approach. Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
