Job Title: Head of Employee Relations Company: Leading National Logistics Organisation (3PL) Salary: £73,000p.a. - £78,000p.a. + Car Allowance + Benefits Location: Open on location but ideally within a commutable distance to the Midlands/Northamptonshire areAre you a confident, commercially minded ER professional with industrial experience? Looking to shape a newly created role and drive real change in how ER is delivered?Great - keep reading…The CompanyWe're working with a nationally recognised logistics and supply chain brand, currently on a major growth and transformation journey. Due to internal realignment and increasing complexity, a new position has been created for a Head of Employee Relations to lead ER across the organisation, supporting over 9,000 employees across 60 UK sites - with a strong presence in the Midlands/Northamptonshire.This is a high-impact, high-autonomy role that will suit a seasoned ER leader who's seen it all - from ACAS and tribunals to union negotiations and policy overhaul.What will you be responsible for?Acting as a trusted advisor to Human Resources and Personnel and operational leaders on complex ER issuesManaging end-to-end ER casework: investigations, disputes, outcomes and appealsHandling all ACAS conciliation's and tribunal claims, working with Group LegalReviewing and maintaining ER policy, templates, documentation and best practiceSupporting union negotiations and industrial relations planningLeading ER aspects of change management programmes (e.g. restructures/TUPE)Collaborating with other ER Heads to ensure Group-wide consistencySupporting upskilling of line managers and HR teams in ER capabilityDriving a culture of continuous improvement and proactive risk reductionWhat do we need from you?We're looking for someone experienced, resilient and fair - with the confidence to challenge constructively and the skill to influence across all levels.Key requirements include:Strong knowledge of UK employment law and Employee Relations confident with supporting everything up to tribunalExtensive ER leadership experience in logistics, manufacturing or industrial sectors - ideally at Head of Employee Relations levelProven record managing high-volume, high-risk ER casesUnderstanding of data and systems to track ER metricsStrong negotiation and conflict resolution skillsBenefits Package£73,000p.a. - £78,000p.a. + Car Allowance15% bonus potential25 days holiday + bank holidaysEnhanced pension contributionsFamily private medical
