Job Description Composite Laminator - Formula 1Title: Composite LaminatorDay Rate: 350 Per Day (Umbrella)Location: SilverstonePattern: Day ShiftStart Date: Feb 2026Duration: 3x Months RollingThe Opportunity This is a rare opportunity to be part of a brand-new, high-performance motorsport programme being built from the ground up. The team combines the agility and energy of a start-up with the backing, ambition, and standards of a world-class engineering organisation. We are seeking a Composite Laminator to join a high-performance manufacturing team at a new facility in Silverstone. You will be responsible for the lamination of advanced composite components, contributing directly to production quality, efficiency, and overall vehicle performance.Key Responsibilities:Follow detailed work instructions and technical specifications to ensure product conformityPrepare composite materials and set up lamination equipmentCarry out hand lay-up and vacuum bagging processesInspect and test composite components for quality and accuracy prior to assemblyDe-mould parts and prepare components for trim shop and post-cure processesOperate autoclaves in line with defined proceduresWork closely with assembly teams to ensure smooth integration of componentsMaintain a safe, clean, and organised working environmentIdentify, report, and support resolution of defects or process issuesWhat Were Looking For:Proven experience in composite laminating, ideally within motorsport, Formula 1, or aerospace environmentsStrong understanding of composite materials and manufacturing processesExperience with hand lay-up and vacuum bagging techniquesAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specificationsHigh attention to detail with a strong quality-focused mindsetWillingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologiesCandidate Profile:Experience working in the motorsport, Formula 1 or Aerospace sector.Strong knowledge of laminating processes.Ideally 3-5+ years experience within an active F1 team or Motorsport EngineeringHow to Apply?
