Operating in a clean, modern environment, this company specialises in sustainable waste management using advanced machinery including control panels, conveyors, extruders, balers, and compactors. Due to continued investment and growth, we are now seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join the team on a full-time, permanent basis. The Package: 37,00045,000pa depending on experience 20 days annual leave + bank holidays Christmas shutdown period Clean and organised working environment Long-term career development and internal progression opportunities The Responsibilities: Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on a range of recycling machinery Fault finding and repairs on control panels, conveyors, extruders, balers, and compactors Work from electrical and mechanical schematics Minimise downtime and ensure smooth operation of production equipment Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve reliability The Requirements: Previous experience in industrial maintenance (electrical and/or mechanical) Strong fault-finding skills and ability to read schematics Experience working with automated machinery or within recycling/manufacturing environments NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in an electrical or mechanical discipline Team player with a proactive and safety-conscious approach Interaction Recruitment have specialist consultants across the majority of industries within the UK, including but not limited to, Finance & IT, Technical & Engineering, Industrial, Commercial and Hospitality.
