Fire Risk Assessor Full Time (National Travel) Salary : 35,00040,000 per year Job type : Full-time, permanent Location : Based from Northampton office (NN3 6QB) national travel required Work setting : Hybrid remote with UK-wide site visits About the Role: Acorn Safety Services is seeking an experienced Fire Risk Assessor to join our growing safety consultancy team.In this role, youll carry out fire risk assessments, audits, and fire door inspections across a variety of commercial and domestic sites. Youll be responsible for producing clear, practical reports and advising clients on how to stay compliant with fire safety regulations.This is a full-time employed role with structured working, national travel, and company support. What Youll Be Doing: Conduct fire risk assessments at client sites across the UK Complete fire door inspections Review fire safety documentation and procedures Produce written reports and risk assessment documents Provide up-to-date fire safety advice based on current legislation Ensure reports are returned within 10 working days What Were Looking For: At least 2 years experience in fire risk assessments NEBOSH Fire Certificate or equivalent (required) IFSM membership (or willingness to apply) Full UK driving licence Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain) Comfortable with national travel and occasional overnight stays Strong communication and report writing skills What We Offer: 35,00040,000 salary (based on experience) Company car + fuel card Laptop, mobile phone, uniform, PPE & inspection tools 23 days holiday + bank holidays + your birthday off Company pension scheme Paid mileage for business travel Regular team events and support About Us: Acorn Safety Services is a nationwide health and safety consultancy, headquartered in Northampton.
