Payroll MI Analyst - 9 month FTC

Youll dive into data reporting, exception analysis, and process improvementshelping us standardise and streamline the way we work. What youll do on a typical day: Support the payroll team and wider payroll stakeholder group with the analysis of payroll data, identifying and escalating any omissions or errors Provide monthly management and payroll frequency reports along with payroll performance reporting Develop a detailed understanding of our payroll data requirements and become a subject matter expert for the reporting tools used Support and lead on continuous improvement and project activities to develop the payroll processes and reporting tools What you need to succeed at GXO: A solid background in payroll with a strong track record of working with large amounts of data and reporting, youll need to be a confident user of a data analytics tool such as Power BI, Google Analytics or Tableau, SQL knowledge & advanced MS Access. If you have knowledge of Java or Python knowledge this would be big tick for us! Familiarity of working with data lake/warehouse(s) with VBA knowledge to remove manual activity Strong analytical and project management skills with the ability to identify and resolve problems with minimal supervision Hands-on and in-depth experience of working with ADP Global View, SAP or similar payroll products Ability to coach and mentor We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
