Job Title: Contracts Manager Location: Northampton / Home Counties Salary : 95k+ Per Annum + Package We are seeking a highly experienced Ground working Contract Manager to oversee the profitable and timely delivery of groundwork and civil engineering projects in Northampton and surrounding areas. This pivotal role requires a skilled professional with expertise in site management, client and stakeholder liaison, risk mitigation, and effective resource planning. You'll be responsible for ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality. Responsibilities: Oversee all groundwork and civil engineering project operations from start to completion. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to company quality standards. Act as the main point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and internal teams. Manage expectations, provide regular updates, and swiftly resolve any project-related issues. Manage site teams, including supervisors, operatives, subcontractors, and suppliers. Plan and allocate resources effectively to meet deadlines and productivity targets. Enforce strict compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) policies. Promote a safe working environment and lead on site audits, inspections, and incident investigations. Requirements: Proven track record in managing groundwork and civil engineering projects.
