What we are looking for Proven experience in a Public Sector procurement environment. Strong knowledge of Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and awareness of the Procurement Act 2023. Skilled in strategic sourcing, negotiation, and stakeholder management. Ability to manage complex projects, balancing detail with strategic oversight. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent written/verbal communication. A collaborative, solutions-focused approach with resilience and adaptability. Key Responsibilities Lead Complex Procurement Projects: Deliver high value, strategic sourcing solutions that align with client objectives, ensuring compliance and best practice at every stage. Market Engagement: Conduct research, analyse trends, and identify innovative suppliers to deliver the best value for clients. Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong partnerships, ensuring performance and innovation are at the forefront. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with senior client stakeholders and cross-functional internal teams (including legal, commercial and operations). Commercial Negotiation: Secure favourable terms on cost, quality and innovation. Drive Social Value: Embed sustainability and community impact within procurement decisions. Ensure Compliance: Uphold Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and be aware of changes under the Procurement Act 2023.
