Youll also have access to our MyBenefits platform offering a variety of high street discounts, a cycle to work scheme, cashback cards, a saving scheme and much more!What youll do on a typical day:Manage all corporate income tax (CIT) matters for UK & Ireland, including US GAAP and local statutory tax accounting and reportingOversee CIT compliance, working with external service providers under co-sourcing arrangementsHandle cash tax payments, forecasting, and R&D credits, as well as Capital Allowances and Plastic Packaging TaxSupport transfer pricing, manage tax audits, and secure tax advice for strategic decisionsCollaborate with internal teams and external advisors to implement tax structuring opportunitiesWhat you need to succeed at GXO:ACA or CTA (or equivalent) qualified, with strong CIT and VAT knowledgeExtensive tax experience in a Big-4 and/or in-house environment, ideally within a US multinationalExpertise in US GAAP/IFRS tax accounting, including ASC 740/IAS 12, and familiarity with SOX requirementsStrong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under pressure and tight deadlinesSkilled in ERP systems (Oracle/SAP/HFM) and open to occasional travel within the UK and Europe.We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.#LI-CM1JBRP1_UKTJ
