SEN Tutor

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced 1:1 SEN Tutor to support students with Special Educational Needs in the Northampton area. This role involves delivering personalised, structured tuition sessions designed to meet each learners individual needs, helping them build confidence and achieve academic progress.Sessions may take place in the students home, school setting, or community venue.Key Responsibilities:Plan and deliver tailored 1:1 lessons based on the students EHCP and individual learning needsAdapt teaching strategies to support a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficultiesBuild a positive and supportive learning environmentMonitor and record student progressLiaise with parents, carers, and relevant professionals where requiredRequirements:Experience working with children or young people with SENRelevant teaching qualification or strong subject backgroundEnhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)Excellent communication and behaviour management skillsAbility to plan engaging and differentiated lessonsDesirable:QTS or equivalent teaching qualificationExperience working with EHCPsBackground in supporting xjdpvnf students with SEMH needsWhat We Offer:Flexible working hoursCompetitive pay ratesOngoing support from our teamOpportunity to make a genuine impact in a young persons educationIf you are patient, dedicated, and passionate about supporting students with additional needs, we would love to hear from you.To apply, please send your CV and a brief cover letter
