Job Title: Senior Buyer Location: Northallerton Salary & Benefits: 35,000 -45,000 (DOE) plus benefits Sea Global are currently partnering with an exciting FMCG business who are passionate about bringing high-quality consumer products to millions of customers every day. Theyre now looking for two results-driven Senior Buyers to join our dynamic team and help them secure the materials and partnerships that keep their supply chain moving. As a Senior Buyer, you will play a key role in sourcing raw materials, packaging, and services essential to our production processes. Youll collaborate cross-functionally to deliver cost savings, quality improvements, and supply continuity, all while supporting our sustainability and innovation goals. Role & Responsibilities Develop and manage supplier relationships to ensure performance, compliance, and cost-effectiveness Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms to maximize value for the business Support strategic sourcing initiatives, market analysis, and supplier risk assessments Monitor and report procurement KPIs, savings, and supplier performance. Collaborate with R&D, marketing, and operations to support new product development Ensure procurement activities align with company policies and sustainability goals Experience & Requirements 3 years experience in procurement or supply chain Experience within FMCG or Manufacturing sectors (preferable not essential) Strong negotiation and analytical skills Proficiency in procurement or ERP systems, ideally SAP Solid understanding of sourcing, contracting, and supplier management Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment55b20050-bc17-4e5d-bfce-3c406318dffc
