Food Production Operative

Cogent Staffing are seeking a motivated and reliable Food Packing Operative to join our Leeming Bar based client on a temporary, ongoing basis. This is casual work NOT a permanent time job, there may be more opportunities for the right person but this is not guaranteed. The ideal candidate will have some experience in food production and it is essential you can do very fast paced packing. WORK IS WITHIN A COLD, REFRIGERATED ENVIRONMENT WORKING WITH RAW MEAT. Shift/salary: Working Monday to Friday 16:30 - 01:30 (afternoon shift) Day shifts may also be requried 07:30 - 16:30 Weekly pay Friendly and supportive work environment Immediate starts available for the right person The role: Pack food products efficiently and accurately according to specifications. Ensure all packing areas are clean and organized. Follow health and safety regulations and company policies. Perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet standards. Report any issues or discrepancies to supervisors promptly. Collaborate with team members to meet production targets. The candidate: Previous experience in food production is preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
