Logistics Administrator

I am working exclusively with a Northallerton based client who are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join their team on a part time basis. This is a 6 month contract, working 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday (ideally 6 hours per day). This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy environment, has excellent organisational skills and can manage multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities Assist with scheduling and processing national and international deliveries in line with daily plans Liaise with customers and third-party providers to ensure deliveries are booked in efficiently and on time Monitor performance of logistics providers and help drive improvements where required Prepare relevant transport documentation for both UK and export shipments Manage activities associated with returnable packaging and resolve any queries with hauliers Provide support and cover across the logistics team when needed Skills & Experience Required Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, with experience of using internal systems Excellent written and verbal communication skills High level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to prioritise and organise workload effectively Confident working both independently and as part of a team Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with internal teams and external partners This role would suit an active team player who thrives in a fast paced environment, whilst also being able to work autonomously when required.
