Contract : 6 months Location : Remote with travel across Yorkshire Rate : Negotiable An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Process Development Manager to join a technical team within a leading food manufacturing business. This is a key leadership role responsible for managing the successful transfer of products from concept to launch, driving process innovation, and supporting continuous improvement across the site. Key Responsibilities: Champion process control, innovation, and cost-reduction initiatives. Oversee factory trials and ensure robust trial processes, recipe implementation, and accurate technical documentation. Drive improvements in process capability and efficiency through structured problem-solving. Act as the key point of contact for customer pre-production and launch activities. Build strong internal and external relationships, enhancing confidence and collaboration across teams. Key Requirements: Experienced in Product Transfer projects is highly desirable. Previous experience working with UK grocery retailers. Minimum 5 years experience in FMCG or similar manufacturing environments. Proven track record in project management and technical leadership. Strong communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills. Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
