You'll play a central role in ensuring a diverse product range meets all relevant UK & EU safety and regulatory standards.If you have prior experience in product compliance and enjoy working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment, this role offers both impact and progression.The RoleAs Product Compliance Specialist, you will:Ensure products comply with UK and EU legislation including GPSR, UKCA / CE Marking, EMC, LVD, RoHS and REACHIdentify applicable regulations and harmonised standards for new and existing productsPrepare and maintain Technical Files and Declarations of ConformityEnsure labelling, warnings and instructions meet regulatory requirementsReview supplier documentation and laboratory test reportsIdentify when re-testing or additional certification is requiredLiaise directly with global suppliers to obtain and verify compliance documentationSupport supplier onboarding from a compliance perspectiveWork closely with Buying, Product and Operations teams to embed compliance at product development stageMonitor regulatory updates and respond to marketplace or authority compliance queriesMaintain organised and audit-ready compliance recordsSupport continuous improvement of compliance processesWhat We're Looking ForEssential Experience:Previous experience in product compliance, product safety, regulatory compliance or quality assuranceStrong working knowledge of UK & EU product safety legislationExperience preparing Technical Files and Declarations of ConformityExcellent attention to detailProactive, solutions-driven mindsetStrong organisational and time management skillsConfident communicator when dealing with suppliers and internal xjdpvnf stakeholdersAbility to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environmentWorking Hours & Location37.5 hours per weekFlexible start between 8:00am - 9:30amOffice-based near York , 5 days per weekOwn transport requiredBenefits25 days holiday + bank holidaysAdditional long-service holiday entitlementFlexitimePrivate medical insurancePrivate dental insuranceGroup life assuranceEnhanced maternity & paternity leavePaid volunteer dayEmployee discount schemeCycle to Work schemeFree on-site parkingHealth & wellbeing programmeCompany eventsCasual dress
