Production Manager

Job Title: Production Manager Location: North Lanarkshire Salary: 50,000 60,000 (depending on experience) Shift Pattern: Day Shift - no weekends Are you a driven Production Manager with a strong background in food manufacturing? Were working with a leading food production business in North Lanarkshire that is looking to hire a confident and capable Production Manager to lead their day-shift operations. The Role: Youll be responsible for overseeing daily production on site, ensuring high standards of output, efficiency, food safety, and team performance. This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced environment, with a strong emphasis on continuous improvement and people development. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage daily production activities across multiple lines Deliver against production targets while maintaining quality and safety standards Coach, motivate and develop a team of supervisors and operatives Drive improvements in OEE, yield, and waste reduction Support site audits and maintain full compliance with food safety, H&S and BRC standards Work closely with Planning, Engineering, and Technical teams to optimise output What Were Looking For: Proven experience in a Production Management or similar leadership role in FMCG manufacturing Strong understanding of food safety, quality standards, and compliance frameworks Excellent communication and team management skills Results-oriented mindset with a focus on efficiency and problem-solving Comfortable working in a high-volume, chilled/fresh environment Whats On Offer: Competitive salary between 50,000 60,000 Day shift no nights or weekends Opportunity to join a stable, well-invested site with long-term progression routes Supportive leadership team and strong operational autonomy55b20050-bc17-4e5d-bfce-3c406318dffc
