Own Label Product Development Manager – Normanton/Hybrid – £40,000 & BenefitsElevation Recruitment Group is working with a market leading business to recruit an experienced Own Label Product Development Manager to join their team.This is a key role will lead the development roadmap for multiple product ranges, working with the Category Manager and cross functional teams, you will take ideas from concept through to launch and into the market.Key BenefitsFlexible hybrid working (3 days in the office / 2 days from home)Bonus scheme24 days holiday plus bank holidays, birthday off, paid volunteer days and holiday purchase scheme (up to 5 days)Westfield Health including Optical coverDeath in service (4.5 x salary)Enhanced maternity/paternity/adoption leavePerkbox and employee discountsEmployee assistance programKey Responsibilities:Define the proposition for each own label brand with a focus on year-on-year growthManage the end-to-end development process from idea generation to launchWork with the Own Label Marketing Manager to shape brand identity and positioningAnalyse market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities in the B2B spaceLead development in existing and new categories across the groupInput to and coordinate the Own Label Development PlanNegotiate with suppliers to secure cost, quality and deliveryTrack product performance and make recommendations to improve range and marginEnsure compliance with legal, safety and brand requirementsApprove samples, packaging and production sign offWork closely with Product Management, Procurement, Purchasing and Product Marketing to deliver commercial results and strong supplier relationshipsHours: 37.5 hours per week (Flexi time)The Person:Proven experience in product development or buying, ideally within own label or private labelStrong supplier management and negotiation skillsKnowledge of sourcing, manufacturing and complianceStrong analytical skills and ability to interpret dataFull UK driving licenceAbout ElevationElevation Recruitment Group is a specialist recruitment consultancy that helps people build long-term, successful careers.
