Senior LCV Technician ?? Location: Normanton ?? Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time ?? Working Hours: 40 hours per week ?? Salary: 42,120 per annum (based on a 45-hour working week) Role Overview: Were seeking a confident and experienced Senior LCV Technician to join our Normanton depot. In this key role, youll be responsible for maintaining our fleet of light commercial vehicles, carrying out inspections, diagnostics, and repairs, as well as supporting workshop operations, including job allocation, scheduling, and technician support. Reporting to: Workshop Manager Liaising with: Logistics Supervisor, Hire Desk, Vehicle Mechanics, Hoist Engineers, Drivers, and Head Office teams Key Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a range of LCVs Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment Prepare vehicles for MOT tests Attend breakdowns, diagnose issues on-site, and carry out effective repairs Accurately process job records on the handheld tablet, including time and parts used Order parts as needed and help maintain optimal stock levels Monitor job allocation and ensure prioritisation of workshop tasks Assist with team scheduling, including holiday planning and timesheet reviews Identify and report potential customer recharges to the Depot Manager Support other areas of the business as required Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety policies and safe working practices Represent the company professionally at all times, maintaining a polite and helpful attitude Adhere to all company policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook Carry out additional duties as directed by your manager Requirements: Minimum of 2 years experience as an LCV Technician NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent) Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills Full UK driving licence Excellent organisation and task prioritisation skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Good knowledge of health and safety procedures Professional and team-oriented approach TPBN1_UKTJ
