Job Description Sales Account ManagerLocation: Newtownards, The OpportunityWe are working with a growing food manufacturer supplying retail and foodservice customers across the UK and Ireland. Due to continued growth and increasing customer demand, the business is now seeking a Sales Account Manager to support and grow key customer relationships while helping drive commercial performance across multiple channels.This role is suited to a commercially minded professional with experience in FMCG or food manufacturing, who enjoys managing customer relationships, supporting growth initiatives and working closely with internal teams.Role OverviewThe Sales Account Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of assigned customer accounts, supporting sales growth, margin delivery and service performance. The role will involve close collaboration with internal teams including NPD, Operations, Technical and Finance to ensure excellent customer delivery and commercial execution.Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day relationships with assigned retail, foodservice and B2B customersSupport the delivery of customer-specific commercial plans and growth initiativesAssist with forecasting, pricing, promotions and margin managementSupport the delivery of new product launches and customer-specific NPDPrepare and present customer data, sales reports and performance reviewsSupport joint business planning activity and customer meetingsWork cross-functionally to ensure customer service, supply and delivery targets are metAssist with tenders, proposals and account reviewsMaintain accurate sales forecasts and customer dataSupport customer visits, audits and commercial reviewsCandidate ProfileExperience in a sales or account management role within FMCG or food manufacturingStrong commercial awareness and numerical abilityConfident communicator with strong relationship-building skillsOrganised and detail-focused, able to manage multiple prioritiesComfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-driven environmentStrong Excel and reporting capabilityWhats on OfferCompetitive salary and benefits packageOpportunity to develop within a growing food manufacturing businessExposure to major retail and foodservice customers
