This 12-month FTC offers genuine visibility, autonomy and exposure within a high-profile lending function at a time of significant momentum and investment.The OpportunityThis role sits at the heart of the bank’s retail lending operations, acting as a core legal partner to the business on consumer credit and unsecured lending matters. This role is dedicated to lending products and the regulatory frameworks that shape them, making it an excellent platform for someone keen to develop depth in consumer credit.With ongoing reform of the Consumer Credit Act, this is a particularly interesting time to join. There is real scope to build expertise and contribute to how consumer lending will be governed in the future.The Environment You will join a collaborative and experienced legal team, with deep consumer credit expertise. The role is based in Belfast, and requires someone comfortable working independently, confident engaging directly with stakeholders and proactive in building strong relationships across the business. The Ideal CandidateThe team is open on PQE and background.
