Senior Buyer - Advanced Manufacturing | BelfastLocation: Belfast, Northern Ireland Employment Type: Full-Time, PermanentAre you a strategic, hands-on procurement professional ready to take ownership of high-value sourcing in a pioneering engineering environment? You’ll manage strategic supplier relationships, negotiate major contracts, and guide a small team to deliver best-in-class procurement outcomes across engineering projects that are redefining the future of high-performance, sustainable technology.What You’ll DoLead sourcing and procurement for advanced systems, components, and supporting facilities.Manage supplier performance, quality, cost evaluation, and commercial agreements.Drive continuous improvement across procurement processes and ERP systems.Support operational teams with procurement insight and project alignment.Develop and coach a small team of buyers, ensuring clear communication, strong KPIs, and professional growth.Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure cost, quality, and delivery goals are exceeded.About YouDegree-qualified in engineering, business, supply chain, or manufacturing discipline (or equivalent NVQ Level 4).Proven experience in strategic procurement within an engineering or manufacturing setting.Strong commercial and negotiation skills with experience in supplier relationship management.Experienced in sourcing complex systems-based products across multiple SKUs.Confident communicator able to influence at all levels.Familiar with ERP systems and continuous improvement initiatives.Preferred:CIPS/APICS membership.Background in mechanical or composite engineering environments.Experience working within large-scale technology, automotive, aerospace, or marine sectors.Why JoinThis is a rare opportunity to join a company at the forefront of innovation — where sustainability meets world-class engineering.
