Senior Quantity Surveyor

Elvet Recruitment have been appointed to recruit for a commercially astute and hands-on Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a growing team, with a clear path to progress into a Commercial Manager role. Ideally suited to someone with a strong contracting background, this role is based within the renewables sector, offering the opportunity to work on impactful, sustainability-driven projects.You will play a key role in shaping the commercial strategy of the business while supporting day-to-day project delivery, working in a small, ambitious team where your input will directly influence growth and performance.Main duties will include:*Prepare and manage Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs) and regular commercial reporting.*Oversee Net Subcontractor Cost (NSR) tracking and reconciliation.*Maintain and update Schedule of Rates and support estimating for new work.*Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring transparency and trust in all commercial matters.*Participate in project procurement, including subcontractor engagement and contract administration.*Monitor and report project performance against budget, identifying risks and opportunities.*Recruit, lead and mentor future team members, helping develop a high-performing commercial team.*Contribute to business planning and commercial strategy as the company grows. ...
