Job Description Yield and Integration Engineer County Durham Newton Aycliffe Semiconductors Bluegate are working with a leading British semiconductor manufacturing company based in Newton Aycliffe, supplying high-reliability products to the defence industry. As part of their continued growth, we are seeking a Yield and Integration Engineer to support process optimisation, product performance, and manufacturing excellence.The RoleAs a Yield and Integration Engineer, you will play a critical role in improving device yield, supporting process integration projects, and driving continuous improvement across wafer fabrication processes. You will work closely with manufacturing, process, quality, and R&D teams to ensure robust, high-yield production.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyse manufacturing data to identify yield loss mechanisms and drive corrective actionsSupport process integration across multiple semiconductor process stepsLead root cause analysis using statistical and problem-solving methodologies (e.g. SPC, DOE, 8D)Drive yield improvement projects from investigation through to implementationSupport new product introduction (NPI) and process change qualificationSkills & ExperienceDegree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Physics, Materials Science or a related disciplineExperience in a semiconductor manufacturing or high and medium volume manufacturing environmentStrong understanding of semiconductor processes and process integrationProven experience with yield analysis and data-driven problem solvingFamiliarity with statistical analysis tools and manufacturing data systemsWhat They OfferCompetitive salary, relocation and benefits packageOpportunity to work with advanced semiconductor technologiesSupportive and collaborative engineering environmentCareer development and training opportunitiesApply Now!
