Job DescriptionCertification and Conformance Regulatory Affairs AssociateLocation: Newton Aycliffe Hybrid (3 days in office 2 home)Salary Range: 48,000 65,000 (depending on experience)Join a leading Industrial Manufacturing organisation and contribute to the advancement of safety and compliance in the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) industry.As a Certification and Conformance Regulatory Affairs Associate, you will work with innovative professionals across the globe, supporting product certification and regulatory activities that make a real-world impact.Key Responsibilities:Identify regulatory product certification requirements across the PPE portfolio and supported geographies.Prepare and submit documentation for relevant product certification schemes, ensuring accurate records are maintained within internal systems.Liaise with test laboratories, notified bodies, and regulatory agencies to facilitate product certifications, streamline registrations, and coordinate necessary audits of manufacturing sites.Review and approve product packaging, labelling, and user information to ensure compliance with applicable European standards and regulations.Collaborate with business leaders, application engineers, quality teams, manufacturing, and other cross-functional stakeholders to support regulatory compliance during product launches and changes.Conduct regulatory assessments for new product development and commercialization processes.Manage post-market regulatory interactions, addressing inquiries or compliance issues with authorities, notified bodies, or agencies.Perform routine regulatory tasks for both new and existing products.Stay updated on developments in relevant regulatory standards, directives, and industry best practices.Skills and Experience Required:Bachelors degree (or higher) in a scientific or engineering discipline, or equivalent qualifications with significant experience in regulatory affairs.Proven experience in a certification, conformance, or regulatory affairs role, ideally within the Personal Protective Equipment industry.Strong command of English, both written and verbal.Familiarity with PPE standards and regulatory frameworks is a plus.Self-starter mentality with the ability to perform in fast-paced environments.Competencies in interpersonal communication, organisational skills, prioritisation, and project management.Role Details:Primary Location: Bracknell (preferred); candidates within commuting distance to Skelmersdale or Aycliffe will also be considered.Travel: Up to 5% (domestic and international).Working Pattern: Hybrid 3 days per week in the office; full-time position.
