Job Description Internal Sales & Commercial CoordinatorOffice Based | South Devon 30,000 37,500 + Bonus + BenefitsA well-established specialist engineering business is looking to appoint a commercially focused individual to join its sales office team.The company operates within a niche technical sector and works internationally with distributors and industry partners. The role supports the growth of a defined product range and involves coordinating sales activity, managing distributor relationships, and ensuring the smooth flow of orders from enquiry through to delivery.This is not a design engineering role. Instead, it would suit someone who enjoys working in a technical environment, is naturally curious about how products work, and can quickly learn new information.The RoleManaging quotations, pricing and sales ordersSupporting and developing distributor relationships (UK and international)Coordinating purchasing and stock with overseas suppliersLiaising internally with production and procurement teamsProactively identifying and contacting potential distributors and partnersMaintaining CRM records, forecasts and reportingSupporting product information and basic sales materialsThe role is predominantly office-based (around 98%) with occasional trade show attendance or partner visits.The PersonBackground in internal sales, sales support, account management, customer service or commercial administrationEnjoys working in a technical or engineering environmentAble to quickly learn product information and communicate it confidentlyBright, organised and commercially mindedCalm and professional communicator with good listening skillsLooking for a long-term, stable opportunity within a close-knit teamFull UK driving licenceThis is a great opportunity for someone who is sales-focused but interested in working with technical products, where you will be given the time and support to learn the product range and grow into the role.
