NVQ Industrial Electrical Engineer Devon | 35,700 per year | 7.30am - 4.30pm | Monday - Friday | Permanent Introduction Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for an NVQ-qualified Industrial Electrical Engineer to join our client's operations in Devon. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer to provide electrical support for key fixed plant and equipment at Devon Ball Clays operations, ensuring maximum plant availability and reliability. Key Duties Provide electrical support for all key fixed plant and equipment. Carry out planned, scheduled, routine, and reactive maintenance, including fault finding, diagnostics, and rectification work. React quickly to unplanned downtime to minimise production loss and improve equipment efficiency. Deliver sustenance and improvement projects and CER equipment installations. Work safely and in full compliance with company rules, procedures, and relevant health, safety, and environmental legislation. Requirements Recognised electrical or multi-skilled indentured apprenticeship, qualified to NVQ Level 3. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations. Experience of electrical systems maintenance within an industrial operations environment. Full UK driving licence. Knowledge of PLCs and Variable Speed Drives is advantageous. Flexible, self-reliant, and able to work as part of a small team or independently. Positive attitude, with the ability to work under pressure and take ownership of tasks. Desirable Skills Experience working in a production environment. Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics. Mechanical cross-skilling and experience. Experience with mobile plant or light vehicles. What We Offer Competitive salary of 35,700 per year. Daywork schedule: 7.30am - 4.30pm, Monday to Friday. Occasional additional attendance where required.
