We’re seeking an experiencedFinance Directorto take ownership of the financial direction of a dynamic, values-driven business based in South Devon. You’ll work closely with the Board and Executive team to shape long-term strategy, drive financial performance, and lead a high-performing finance function. The Role As Finance Director, you’ll oversee all areas of financial planning, reporting, governance and team development. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring both strategic vision and operational excellence, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving business with strong growth ambitions. Key Responsibilities of theFinance Director: Lead budgeting, forecasting, reporting and financial planning Act as a key advisor to the Board on commercial strategy and business growth Oversee cash flow, treasury, and risk management processes Ensure financial controls, governance and regulatory compliance Drive improvements in systems, processes, and automation Manage external relationships with auditors, banks, and stakeholders Lead and develop the finance team, promoting a high-performance culture What We’re Looking For in the Finance Director: ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified, with at least 5 years in a senior finance leadership role Proven experience in a multi-site or group structure environment would be beneficial Commercially astute with strong strategic and analytical capabilities Clear communicator, able to influence across senior and non-finance audiences A hands-on leader with a passion for team development and operational improvement Why Apply?
