Internal Account ManagerLearn more about the general tasks related to this opportunity below, as well as required skills.Location: NewportSector: Electronics Manufacturing / EngineeringAn established electronics manufacturing organisation supporting aerospace, industrial and medical technology sectors is seeking an Internal Account Manager to manage key customer relationships and ensure the successful delivery of operational and commercial objectives.The Internal Account Manager will act as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, overseeing operational performance, financial management and customer satisfaction across the account lifecycle.Working closely with the Head of Programmes and cross-functional teams, this role will drive customer growth, maintain profitability and ensure high standards of service delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer & Account ManagementAct as the main operational contact for assigned customer accountsBuild and maintain strong long-term customer relationshipsLead customer-focused teams (typically 812 people) to deliver high levels of serviceConduct regular customer meetings and reviews, including quarterly business reviewsManage issue resolution and customer escalationsCommercial & Financial ManagementManage account profitability including costs, pricing and marginsProvide forecasting for revenue, order intake and order book performanceSupport strategic growth opportunities with existing customersEnsure financial performance aligns with business objectivesWorking Capital & Risk ManagementManage accounts receivable in line with agreed payment termsResolve pricing discrepancies and contractual issues with customersAddress excess and obsolete material claimsMaintain and manage customer agreements and contractsCross-Functional CoordinationLead cross-functional teams to deliver operational excellenceCollaborate with engineering, supply chain, production and quality functionsSupport the organisations KPIs and operational targetsContribute to SIOP meetings and strategic planning processesReporting & SystemsMaintain accurate information within CRM and ERP systemsProvide regular reporting to senior management on account performanceUtilise business systems and tools to manage customer accounts effectivelyCandidate RequirementsEssentialExperience working within manufacturing or engineering environmentsProven experience leading or coordinating xjdpvnf cross-functional teamsStrong communication skills with the ability to interact with customers and senior stakeholdersCommercial awareness and ability to manage account profitabilityAnalytical and problem-solving capabilityProficiency with CRM and ERP systemsStrong organisational and time management skillsDesirableExperience within electronics manufacturing or high-reliability sectorsExperience with SIOP, MRP or manufacturing planning systemsProject management experienceStrong IT and business systems capabilityAdditional InformationBased primarily at the Newport site with some remote working possibleOccasional travel within the UK and internationally (approximately 12 days per month)Candidates must have the right to work in the UK
