Managing Quantity Surveyor - EnergyWe have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, strategic and personable Managing Quantity Surveyor to join our clients commercial team. You will be confident in prioritising workload in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Management of subcontractors and subcontractor accountsSupporting the Commercial Manager and leading elements of the commercial teamManaging client disputes and supporting internal auditing processesMaintaining and updating the commercial risk registerOverseeing weekly valuations and confirming accuracy of measurementsCost analysis and driving cost reduction initiativesContract and rates reviewProduction of CVRs across projectsAbout You:An experienced Senior or Managing Quantity Surveyor with strong commercial awareness and problem-solving capabilityConfident, influential communicator with the ability to clearly land messages at all levelsProven experience delivering projects under NEC contractsStrong subcontract management experienceBackground within utilities and/or civil engineeringA track record of mentoring and developing junior team members is desirableHold a UK driving licenceDegree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying, or substantial experience in a similar roleIf you are looking to join a business delivering essential infrastructure projects and driving positive, long-term change, this is an excellent opportunity to progress your career. xjdpvnf Whats on Offer:Our client offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including pension, healthcare, and a generous holiday allowance, alongside additional employee benefits and wellbeing support.
