Job Description Commercial ManagerSalary: 95,000 - 100,000Location: NewportSector: Data Centres | Mission-Critical ConstructionType: Permanent | Site-BasedA well-established international contractor delivering some of the UKs most advanced data centre developments is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to lead the commercial function on major live projects.This is a senior role with full responsibility for commercial performance, subcontract strategy, and financial governance on high-value, technically complex schemes.As Commercial Manager, you will take full ownership of the project commercial lifecycle, working closely with project leadership to drive performance, manage risk, and protect margin.Key ResponsibilitiesFull commercial management of a data centre projectLead cost reporting, forecasting, and financial controlManage subcontract procurement, negotiations, and final accountsOversee variations, change control, and contractual complianceProvide commercial input to project strategy and decision-makingMentor and manage QS and Assistant QS team membersInterface with senior internal stakeholders and clientsRequirementsProven experience as a Commercial Manager or Senior QSStrong background in data centres, MEP, or complex construction projectsExcellent contractual and commercial knowledgeConfident leader with strong stakeholder management skillsWhats on OfferHigh-profile data centre projects across the UKLong-term workload and project continuitySenior-level influence and career progressionWork with a contractor trusted by global technology clientsJBRP1_UKTJ
